Adam Pollard
Managing director
Adam completed an apprenticeship in carpentry with C.S. Luney construction, achieving trade certificate and advanced trade in carpentry. After spending 5 years with CS Lunney Ltd he was offered a position of landscape construction foreman with Morgan and Pollard Landscapes Ltd. In 1994 Adam started his own building business, specializing in new homes and alterations. He re- joined Morgan and Pollard Landscapes Ltd in 1996 as the Contracts Manager.
On the retirement of co -founder Alan Morgan, Morgan+Pollard Group became wholly owned by the Pollard family and in 2003 Adam was appointed Managing Director of Morgan and Pollard Landscapes Ltd. During this time he has achieved a New Zealand Certificate in Horticulture (landscape) level 4. Adam has served on the Landscape Industries Association of New Zealand executive committee since 2002 being Vice President for the last year. He has also been board member of the Horticulture Industry Training Organisation since 2003 and has been Chairman for the last two years. The HITO looks after the training of apprentices through out the Horticulture sectors from floristry to arboriculture.
Glenn Turpin
Project manager
Glenn started as an apprentice carpenter with C.S. Luney construction in 1986 and was with this company for 16 years. After completing his apprenticeship and receiving trade certificate and advanced trade certificate, and progressed to become Forman carpenter running his first building project .
In 1996 he was appointed Project Manager in charge of running projects such as Clear Water Resort Club House, Curators House Restaurant, Latimer Square apartment block high rise and Ballantynes high rise. He received a scholarship to the New Zealand Institute of Management for leadership skills and holds a certificate in Health and Safety. Between 2001 and 2005 worked as Contracts Manager for Dominion Carpets.
In January 2005 Glenn joined Morgan+Pollard Landscapes as Project Manager / QS for the Pegasus Golf Course contract and numerous other contracts undertaken by the company.
Amber Milne
Office Administrator
Amber has been with Morgan & Pollard for over 14 years and started fresh out of polytech as our Office Junior/Receptionist. Amber responded to the challenges of extra-mural study in accounts management and in 2003 became Office Manager taking care of all the Morgan & Pollard Group accounts. Her duties cover all facets of the financial management of the businesses reporting to the Directors on a weekly basis. With the help of Kay Herriott on reception Amber is a key person in relation to the success of the business.
