Roger Pollard

Founder/ Director/ Principal Consultant

Roger has been involved in the Landscape industry for over 45 years. Originally establishing Morgan Pollard Landscapes in 1969 with Alan Morgan. Roger has been the principal designer for many years and has a wealth of expertise and knowledge based on the extensive and comprehensive experience gained over the years.

Roger acts as the Principal consultant on large-scale projects, often formulating the initial overall vision, establishing development schedules and coordinating the links between the designed and built phases of projects. Roger has many years of experience in running landscape contracts, working to tight budgets and problem solving to achieve quality results.


Louise Bailey

Senior Landscape Architect
BLA, NZILA Member

Louise brings a range of skills to Morgan+Pollard having managed her own Landscape Architecture practice for seven years. Her work has featured in several national magazines with projects throughout the south Island including substantial homesteads to subdivisions in sensitive New Zealand coastal and bush landscapes.

Louise believes in the importance of putting something back into her community and serves on the Canterbury and Westland branch of the New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects as well as judging landscape entries in the Young Designer Awards. Contribution to the Bachelor of landscape Architecture degree at Lincoln University for many years allows Louise to keep up with current issues as well as passing on her practical knowledge to students.

With a strong environmental ethic and wide travel experience Louise’s work is both sensitive and refined. Her strength lies in her commitment to achieve the best outcome.


Andrea Brown

Senior Landscape Architect
BRS, BLA (Hons), NZILA Member

Andrea has eight years experience within the industry, both internationally and locally, which has strengthened her ability to develop innovative yet practical, sustainable and inspiring environments, whilst managing projects and relationships throughout all phases of their development. Her dedicated approach to projects ensures the professional integrity is upheld at all times.

Her strengths include her understanding of hard landscaping detail, planting design, project management and her ability to produce creative design solutions. These skills are regularly in use on the diverse projects undertaken by Morgan+Pollard, ranging from urban institutional design and rural lifestyle blocks to residential and commercial subdivisions throughout the South Island.

Sharon Crofts

Landscape Designer
Dip Hort. Dip Landscape Tech

Sharon has worked for Morgan+Pollard as a landscape designer for 25 years.
Her strength is mainly in rural and residential design. Sher has a wonderful rapport with clients especially those who visit our nursery. Along with a good plant knowledge, Sharon has a great understanding of peoples lifestyles and meeting the demands of her clients needs from small courtyards to expansive homestead settings.
